A rooftop is a setting, not a plan. One night you may want the Burj Khalifa almost within reach; another, a Palm sunset, a DJ that takes over after dark, or a quieter corner above the city. This guide starts with that choice, then gives you the practical terms: what a drink or booking costs, which hours and rules apply, and whether the seat includes the view you came for. Offer prices and minimum spends are shown separately from regular menu prices.
Checked 29 September 2026. Promotional prices and access terms can change; confirm the date, seat and booking terms with the venue.
At a glance
- CÉ LA VI Sky Bar — For a close Burj Khalifa view and an early aperitivo. Sky High Aperitivo lists cocktails at AED50 and Champagne at AED90. The venue FAQ also lists a minimum spend of AED500 per person for bookings every day; Ask whether this minimum applies to aperitivo bookings and what seating it secures.
- The Penthouse — For a sunset lounge that turns into a late club. The operator currently lists free bar entry before 10pm; its current event page lists AED200 gents entry with one drink from 10pm, subject to availability. This is an event-specific entry product, not a regular cocktail tariff. Ask for standard cocktail prices and the table minimum for your event.
- Level 43 Sky Lounge — For an open-air skyline and one tightly timed cocktail offer. The current Happenings page advertises all signature cocktails at AED43 during the 43-minute window. It is a nightly promotion, not the regular menu tariff; Ask for regular cocktail prices and any minimum spend before booking.
- ATTIKO — For a wraparound Marina sunset that gets livelier later. Choi Nomi is listed daily, 5–8pm: drinks AED50 and bites AED40. The offer menu says prices include all fees and taxes. These are offer prices, not regular cocktail-menu prices; Ask for standard drink prices and any table minimum before booking.
- Above Eleven — For a Palm sunset with a small Nikkei bite alongside the drink. Wed–Sun sunset offer: selected house drinks/cocktails with one sushi bite, AED40. Separate Wednesday ladies’ and Fri–Sat social-club packages have different inclusions; AED40 is not a regular cocktail price.
- SoBe Rooftop Lounge — For 360-degree Palm sunsets and Latin/Afro beats. Sun–Fri, 5–8pm: buy one, get one free on selected cocktails from AED80. The “from” price is the listed starting price for the offer; it is not a flat two-drink total for every cocktail.
- Treehouse — For a choice between a DJ terrace and a leafy lower deck. Ask the venue for today’s drinks menu and any booking minimum before reserving.
- High Society — For a Burj Khalifa skyline at night, away from the daytime pool visit. AED150 per person minimum spend Thu–Sat; no minimum is listed Sun–Wed. Current summer food menu prices include all listed fees. Ask for the current cocktail list and whether the minimum secures a view-facing seat.
- Paradiso, FIVE LUXE JBR — For an outdoor terrace, live music and a Dubai Eye view. Current signature cocktails are listed at AED80–95; premium serves AED134–220. Saturday After Brunch offers three selected house drinks for AED120. Ask for the regular list’s current prices and fees when booking.
CÉ LA VI Sky Bar
For a close Burj Khalifa view and an early aperitivo
Level 54, Address Sky View, Downtown Dubai · Daily, noon–3am; Sky High Aperitivo Mon–Fri, 5–8pm
Go for the view first, but plan the bill before you choose a table. CÉ LA VI puts its Sky Bar on Level 54, with the Burj Khalifa as its defining backdrop; weekday aperitivo prices start at AED50 for cocktails. The catch is the FAQ’s AED500-per-person booking minimum. Before booking, ask whether the AED500 minimum applies to aperitivo and whether it secures an outdoor, view-facing table.
What it costs: Sky High Aperitivo lists cocktails at AED50 and Champagne at AED90. The venue FAQ also lists a minimum spend of AED500 per person for bookings every day; Ask whether this minimum applies to aperitivo bookings and what seating it secures.
Before you go: Sky Bar is listed daily noon–3am and is 21+. Smart/elegant dress rules apply; shorts, flip-flops and sportswear may be refused. Book the Sky Bar specifically, not the restaurant or Club Lounge. Outdoor seating is subject to availability/weather; Ask whether a view-facing outdoor seat is available; it is not guaranteed.

The Penthouse
For a sunset lounge that turns into a late club
FIVE Palm Jumeirah, Palm Jumeirah · Lounge/terrace daily 5pm–3am; club from 10pm
The useful distinction here is the hour. The Penthouse opens its lounge and terrace from 5pm, then adds the club from 10pm; a sunset drink and a late dance-floor plan are different bookings. The evening changes pace at 10pm: entry to the bar is listed as free before then, while a current event lists AED200 for gents with one drink from 10pm, subject to availability. This is event-specific, not a nightly tariff. Check the event and table terms for your date, and ask for the regular cocktail list.
What it costs: The operator currently lists free bar entry before 10pm; its current event page lists AED200 gents entry with one drink from 10pm, subject to availability. This is an event-specific entry product, not a regular cocktail tariff. Ask for standard cocktail prices and the table minimum for your event.
Before you go: Lounge/terrace listed daily 5pm–3am; club 10pm–3am. Table minimums and event entry vary by night and zone. Confirm age policy, door/guest-list requirements and the exact view from the assigned table before paying a deposit.

Level 43 Sky Lounge
For an open-air skyline and one tightly timed cocktail offer
Four Points by Sheraton Sheikh Zayed Road · Daily, 5pm–3am; “43 minutes” offer, 11–11:43pm
Level 43 gives you a broad city view rather than one framed landmark: from this 43rd-floor open-air terrace, the operator and Visit Dubai describe sightlines toward the Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab and Atlantis The Palm. Its memorable price detail is unusually precise: all signature cocktails are AED43 from 11pm to 11:43pm. That is a short promotion, not a general happy-hour price, so arrive in that window only if the late timing works for you. For a sunset table, reserve ahead; walk-ins depend on availability.
What it costs: The current Happenings page advertises all signature cocktails at AED43 during the 43-minute window. It is a nightly promotion, not the regular menu tariff; Ask for regular cocktail prices and any minimum spend before booking.
Before you go: Open daily 5pm–3am. Smart casual; shorts, beachwear and open shoes for men may be refused. Under-16s are not allowed; guests aged 16–20 must leave by 9pm and be accompanied by an adult. Reservations are recommended and do not guarantee a particular view unless confirmed.

ATTIKO
For a wraparound Marina sunset that gets livelier later
Level 31, W Dubai – Mina Seyahi, Dubai Marina · Daily per operator; confirm hours for your date.
ATTIKO’s strongest early-evening reason is the location: it sits on Level 31 of W Dubai – Mina Seyahi, with the operator describing an unobstructed sunset and panoramic views. Choi Nomi gives a concrete way to start: listed drinks at AED50 and bites at AED40 between 5pm and 8pm. After that the operator positions the room around live music and DJs. Treat the offer as a separate price point from the regular cocktail list, which still needs a current fee-inclusive range.
What it costs: Choi Nomi is listed daily, 5–8pm: drinks AED50 and bites AED40. The offer menu says prices include all fees and taxes. These are offer prices, not regular cocktail-menu prices; Ask for standard drink prices and any table minimum before booking.
Before you go: 21+ per the hotel listing. Confirm operating hours for the chosen date, any table minimum, fee treatment and whether the reservation is for the terrace or an indoor seat. A terrace reservation may not mean every table has the same view; request a view-facing seat and confirm the zone.

Above Eleven
For a Palm sunset with a small Nikkei bite alongside the drink
Level 14, Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah, West Palm Beach · Wed–Sun, 5pm–1am; sunset offer 5–8pm
This is a more food-led sunset than a stand-alone cocktail stop. Above Eleven’s rooftop looks across the Marina, Burj Al Arab and Palm; from Wednesday to Sunday, its 5–8pm offer pairs a selected house drink or cocktail with one sushi bite for AED40. That gives the visit a defined starting point without pretending the whole menu costs AED40. AED40 applies only to the selected sunset offer; ask for the regular cocktail list if you plan to order beyond it.
What it costs: Wed–Sun sunset offer: selected house drinks/cocktails with one sushi bite, AED40. Separate Wednesday ladies’ and Fri–Sat social-club packages have different inclusions; AED40 is not a regular cocktail price.
Before you go: Operator page lists Wed–Sun 5pm–1am and smart casual. The dining area is family-accessible 5–7pm; the Terrace, Bar and Lounge are 21+ (the rule is not limited to after 7pm). Confirm whether the AED40 offer is available in your chosen area and which seat type the reservation guarantees.

SoBe Rooftop Lounge
For 360-degree Palm sunsets and Latin/Afro beats
W Dubai – The Palm, West Crescent, Palm Jumeirah · Operator lists Sun–Thu 5pm–1am, Fri to 2am, Sat 4pm–2am
SoBe is a sunset pick with a later soundtrack: the operator describes an open-air fifth-floor terrace and 360-degree views over the Palm, Marina and Gulf, then Latin/Afro DJ sets as the night builds. Its Sunday-to-Friday 5–8pm offer is buy one, get one free on selected cocktails from AED80. Because that is a “from” price, check the eligible list and the price of the cocktail you want; it does not mean every pair costs AED80. Opening days differ across operator pages; confirm Sunday or Monday service in the booking flow before making the trip.
What it costs: Sun–Fri, 5–8pm: buy one, get one free on selected cocktails from AED80. The “from” price is the listed starting price for the offer; it is not a flat two-drink total for every cocktail.
Before you go: Book ahead; walk-ins depend on availability. Weather can change the seating arrangement. Smart/stylish dress; beachwear and flip-flops may be refused. Verify the correct W Dubai branch and current opening days before traveling.

Treehouse
For a choice between a DJ terrace and a leafy lower deck
Taj Dubai, Business Bay · Sun–Thu 6pm–2am; Friday–Saturday 6pm–3am
Treehouse works when your group wants different volumes. The upper deck is the main bar and DJ space; below it, a leafy lounge has its own bar. Request the lower deck for conversation or the upper bar for music, and ask for today’s drinks menu and booking minimum before reserving.
What it costs: Ask the venue for today’s drinks menu and any booking minimum before reserving.
Before you go: The current branch page lists Sun–Thu 6pm–2am and Friday–Saturday 6pm–3am. Confirm the deck, minimum spend and whether a table booking reserves an outdoor view.

High Society
For a Burj Khalifa skyline at night, away from the daytime pool visit
Level 30, The Lana, Business Bay · Sun–Wed 5pm–midnight; Thu–Sat 5pm–2am
High Society works best as an evening plan, not as a shortcut to the hotel’s pool. The pool runs separately by day; the bar opens from 5pm and looks toward the Burj Khalifa from Level 30. The spend rule changes with the night: AED150 per person Thu–Sat, while the operator lists no minimum Sun–Wed. A minimum is not a guarantee of a particular view, and the current food menu cannot stand in for a cocktail price. Ask for both the bar seating zone and current drinks menu when you book.
What it costs: AED150 per person minimum spend Thu–Sat; no minimum is listed Sun–Wed. Current summer food menu prices include all listed fees. Ask for the current cocktail list and whether the minimum secures a view-facing seat.
Before you go: Bar hours Sun–Wed 5pm–midnight; Thu–Sat 5pm–2am. Guests 21+ after 5pm. Pool admission and hours are separate and are not implied by a bar booking. Food menu prices include 7% municipality, 10% service and 5% VAT; beverage fee treatment is not stated; ask the venue before booking.

Paradiso, FIVE LUXE JBR
For an outdoor terrace, live music and a Dubai Eye view
FIVE LUXE JBR, Jumeirah Beach Residence · Mon–Wed and Sun 5pm–2am; Thu–Fri 5pm–3am; Sat 4pm–3am
Paradiso is the clearest cocktail-led outdoor terrace in this group: the current menu prices signature drinks at AED80–95, and the operator pairs the bar with live music and views toward Dubai Eye and the Gulf. Saturday’s After Brunch offer—three selected house drinks for AED120—is a separate, time-specific package. Use the SevenRooms link to confirm which terrace table is available for your date and whether a minimum spend applies. Confirm which terrace table and minimum spend apply to your date.

Pick the night first
If Burj Khalifa is the point, compare CÉ LA VI’s close view with High Society’s quieter evening bar; both have booking terms that can change the bill. For a sunset and then a louder room, ATTIKO and SoBe lean into DJs, while Above Eleven pairs a selected drink with a sushi bite. Treehouse is the two-deck choice; Level 43 has the unusually narrow AED43 late offer. Paradiso has the clearest published cocktail prices, but its current terrace booking link still needs a date-specific check for the seat zone and minimum spend. The Penthouse makes most sense when you understand exactly which room, event and time you are reserving.
Before you book
Minimum spend, offer prices and regular menu prices are different things. Confirm the exact night, table zone, taxes/fees, age policy and outdoor-seat availability with the venue. Rooftop or pool access is never implied by a hotel booking unless the operator says so.
